Gwyn Curby Godwin was born in Cairo Georgia, a small town near the Georgia/Florida
border. She is the youngest of ten children. She is told by her siblings that she was
always a storyteller even before she was old enough to write. She would corner anyone
who would listen and let her imagination run wild with tall tales.
She has been married almost forty years to Elzie and is the mother of two grown sons,
John Travis and Curby Troy.
She now lives in Florida with her husband and dog.
